Who we are
Our website address is: https://www.arnoweterings.nl.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form. We will also collect the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
The website may send an anonymized string created from your email address to the Gravatar service. The purpose of this is to see if you are using Gravatar.
You can find the Gravatar service privacy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Should you send us questions via the contact form, we will collect the data entered on the form. This data includes the contact details you provide, to answer your question and any follow-up questions.
We will not share any data, and information sent via the contact form without your permission.
We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time. An informal email making this request is sufficient. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.
We will keep the data you provide on the contact form until you:
- Request its deletion
- Revoke your consent for its storage
- The purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request).
Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.
If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience, so you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data, and when you close your browser, it will discard the cookie.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the browser will remove the login cookies.
If you edit or publish an article, it will save an additional cookie in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply shows the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site will not include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.).

- The host-name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
The website provider will not combine the server log files with data from other sources.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or for measures preliminary to a contract.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
